Abstract

|
Sjoren’s syndrome is an utoimmune exocrinopathy that develops into systemic autoimmune disease in 25% of patients, leading to general complications, one of wfhich is kindney involvement. It presents mainly as interstitial nephritis, disclosed by hyposthenuria, distal renal tubular acidosis and diabetes insipidus. We here describe one case of secondary Sj?ren syndrome with distal renal tubular acidosis who developed nephrocalcinosis and renal insufficiency.
